A brief description on SMP
Scholar Media Publishing Company (SMP), established in 2011 in Hong Kong, China, is an international company focused on journal publishing, publishing services and consulting. One oversea company was founded in Shenzhen, China, 2025. Two production bases are located in Beijing and Shenyang, China.
SMP publications mainly focus on medical journals and gradually cover the entire natural and social sciences. Currently, over 20 publications have been planned or published, covering various medical disciplines such as internal medicine, infectious diseases, critical care medicine, immunology and rheumatology, diabetes, integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, frigid zone medicine, science and technology education, etc.

VTE has been formally indexed in Scopus after passing a rigorous review by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB).
