EER Co-hosts the 2025 Engineering Philosophy Education Seminar and Book Launch at Tsinghua University
On August 23, 2025, the 2025 Engineering Philosophy Education Seminar and the Launch Ceremony of the "Course in Engineering Philosophy"were held at Tsinghua University. As a major co-organizer, Engineering Education Review (EER) was deeply involved in the event.
Distinguished attendees from the journal included Editor-in-Chief Professor Wang Sunyu; Editorial Board members Professor Wang Dazhou, Professor Lei Qing, and Associate Professor Bao Ou; Youth Editorial Board members Dr. Fu Jie and Dr. Shi Banghong; Editorial Office Director Dr. Shen Ye; and Editor Li Chao.
Professor Wang Sunyu chaired the textbook launch and book donation session. During the teaching seminar and experience-sharing segments, Professor Wang Dazhou and Associate Professor Bao Ou delivered keynote speeches and highlighted the strategic mission and progress of Engineering Education Review to the attending experts. Dr. Shen Ye, representing the EER editorial office, engaged in in-depth discussions with scholars on the intrinsic relationship between engineering philosophy and engineering education.
The seminar was hosted by the International Centre for Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICEE) and the Professional Committee of Engineering Philosophy of the Chinese Society for Dialectics of Nature. It was organized by the Fundamental Industry Training Center (iCenter) of Tsinghua University and the Cross-disciplinary Engineering Research Center of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS).
EER has long been committed to advancing research and development in the field of engineering education. Its deep involvement in this seminar further facilitates academic exchange in engineering philosophy education and contributes to the cultivation of exceptional engineering talent for the future.
