Engineering Education Review (EER) Hosts UNESCO Assistant Director-General Lidia Arthur Brito and Delegation
On February 26, a delegation led by Lidia Arthur Brito, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Natural Sciences, visited Tsinghua University. Professor Wang Sunyu, Editor-in-Chief of Engineering Education Review (EER) and Executive Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the International Centre for Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICEE), along with Dr. Shen Ye, Director of the EER Editorial Office and Assistant to the Secretary-General of UNESCO-ICEE, attended the meeting and symposium.
Dr. Shen Ye provided Ms. Brito and her delegation with an overview of EER as China’s first international journal dedicated to engineering education. Ms. Brito emphasized the significance of the journal's launch and expressed her commitment to following its ongoing progress. In line with the implementation of the UN resolution on the "International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (2024-2033)," both parties expressed their intention to explore collaborative opportunities in areas such as engineering data statistics, annual engineering reports, and online education.
