Engineering Education Review Co-hosts the Asian Engineering Deans Forum

On January 14, 2024, the Engineering Education Review (EER) editorial team participated in the Asian Engineering Deans Forum held at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) in Shenzhen. The theme of the forum was "Engineering Education in the Age of AI."

EER served as a co-host of the convention. Dr. Hans Juergen Hoyer, Co-Editor-in-Chief of EER, presided as the Forum Chair, and Professor Wang Sunyu, Editor-in-Chief of EER, served as a member of the Forum’s Organizing Committee. Attending experts expressed great interest and enthusiasm for the launch of EER, recognizing its status as China’s first international journal in the field of engineering education. SUSTech has pledged active support and participation in the journal’s ongoing development.

Dr. Shen Ye, Director of the EER Editorial Office, held in-depth strategic discussions with Co-Editor-in-Chief Dr. Hans Juergen Hoyer regarding the journal’s future trajectory. Other distinguished participants from Tsinghua University included Li Ying, Deputy Party Secretary of the School of Social Sciences; Lei Huan, Deputy Director of the Discipline Construction and Development Planning Office; and Dr. Ren Yangang, Director of the Medical Review Editorial Office.
