About the Journal

A new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is reshaping the global innovation landscape and reshaping the global economic structure. Cross-integration between disciplines, between science and technology, and between technologies provides a source of innovation for cutting-edge and disruptive technologies. Emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, information technology, big data and the Internet of Things, are deeply integrated with the resource industry, giving birth to a number of cutting-edge technologies, such as digital twin, virtual reality, computing simulation and process simulation, which will completely overturn the development mode of the resource field.

The new issue "MetaResource" will focus on the groundbreaking research results in the fields of frontier technology and resources, strategically lead the technological innovation and development of the deep integration of emerging technology and traditional resources, promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional resource industry to the direction of intelligence and unmanned, and fill the gap of English journals in this field at home and abroad.

MetaResource aims to publish ground-breaking researches made in the inter-fields of resources and emerging frontier technologies such as digital twinning, virtual reality, computational simulation, process simulation and metaverse. MetaResource is expected to promote the transformation and upgrading of the traditional resource industry to intelligent, unmanned direction.

Focal areas and topics of interest of the journal include, but are not limited to:
