Vocation, Technology & Education Accepted for Scopus

2026-05-09

Vocation, Technology & Education (VTE, ISSN 3005-2157), the international journal sponsored by SZPU, has been formally indexed in Scopus after passing a rigorous review by the Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board (CSAB).

CSAB reviewers praised VTE for its clear research identity and strong alignment between its content and the stated aims and scope. They also highlighted that the articles are methodologically sound and internationally relevant. This decision marks a major milestone for the journal, which published its inaugural issue only in March 2024. It elevates VTE to the ranks of the leading global titles recognized by one of the world’s most authoritative academic databases. In line with Scopus’s retrospective coverage policy, every article published by VTE since its launch will now be included in the database.

Owned by Elsevier, Scopus is the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, widely used by universities and research institutions globally as a trusted benchmark for academic evaluation.

Since its launch, VTE has pursued a clear editorial mission: to share global perspectives on vocational education and bring China’s own vocational education story to a global readership. Supported by a distinguished, internationally composed editorial team as well as sustained efforts to attract excellent submissions and extend its international reach, the journal has grown rapidly—an achievement also thanks to its authors and readers alike. Building on the Scopus recognition, VTE will continue to uphold stringent academic principles, treat this achievement as a fresh starting point, and evolve into an even more valuable forum for intellectual exchange worldwide.
