Call for Papers: Preterm Birth Special Issue

We invite researchers and investigators to submit original articles, reviews, and perspectives on any aspect of preterm birth, including but not limited to:

  1. Cervical factors and preterm birth
  2. Prediction of preterm birth
  3. Microenvironmental changes at the maternal-fetal interface and preterm birth
  4. Prevention and treatment of preterm birth in twin pregnancies
  5. Antenatal corticosteroid use for preterm birth
  6. Role of Progesterone in preventing preterm birth
  7. Placental disorders and preterm birth
  8. Vaginal bleeding in pregnancy and preterm birth
  9. Preterm birth and neonatal outcomes
  10. Global burden of preterm birth—economic and societal impacts

 

We welcome research articles that employ a variety of methodologies, including clinical trials, observational studies, and basic science investigations. Reviews and perspectives that synthesize existing literature or propose new ideas for research and practice are also welcome.
