Call for papers

Health decision-making focus on the optimal allocation of limited health resources. It is a process through which resources are concentrated and redistributed at the national level, ultimately achieving equity and improving health. The current applied theory and implementation principles need adjust to newer and iterative technologies. In addition, many developing countries have not established their own decision-making systems. Apparently, more systematic and humanistic exploration is imperative. Journal Value in Health pioneered the trend in the West, but there has never been a journal in Asia that accommodates regional characteristics for researchers to interact and share. After several years of in-depth use of pharmacoeconomic evidence in China, the journal Health Decision (HD) came into being.

We issue a call for papers in the hopes that exceptional peers will submit remarkable research and perspectives. We seek papers on a wide range of topics, as follows:

  • Pharmacoeconomics (e.g., cancer-related, screening-related, and device-related economic evaluation)
  • Evidence-based Medicine (e.g., effectiveness comparisons of drugs, real-world research)
  • Health Measurement (e.g., patient-reported outcomes)
  • Policy Reviews (e.g., China medical insurance and drug policy)
  • Alternative Therapies (e.g., traditional Chinese medicine)
  • Others related to health decision-making
