Focus and Scope

Recent developments in aging research are the result of an increasingly fruitful cooperation between theoreticians, engineers, and clinical practitioners. Aging Care publishes peer reviewed, cutting-edge articles on aging related research both in basic and clinical aspects. Aging Care also aims to expand excellence in interdisciplinary and integrative basic and clinical research. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference. Aging Care has the ambition to and will become the EXCELLENT international platform for the publication of outstanding studies from all over the world. Geriatric Nursing publishes contributions on epidemiology, pathophysiology and clinical assessment, management and treatment of diseases in older adults, as well as health education and environmental health, hospital-residential-home care management for older adults, including ethical, social and health technology assessment. Contributions on innovative topics such as biological and genetic research, gender and disparity issues are welcome.

Target audience

The target audiences include: geriatric and internal medicine physician, nurses, geriatric educators, long-term care administrators, and others interested in care of the older adult. Attendees will define the unique health care needs, issues and concerns of the geriatric patient aimed at enhancing the health status and comfort level of elderly patients.
