International Congress of Basic Science

The International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) is held in Beijing from July 16 to July 28, 2023, with the theme of Advancing Science for Humanity.

The conference focuses on three major areas of basic science: mathematics, theoretical physics, and theoretical computer and information sciences.

The Conference is chaired by Academician Yau Shing-Tung, with an estimated attendance of approximately 1000 participants, including 300 distinguished scholars, 8 Fields Medalists and 4 Turing Medal winners, 1 Nobel laureate, and numerous academicians from China, the United States, and European nations.

During the Congress, approximately 350 Frontiers of Science Award Lectures, Plenary Lectures, and Invited Lectures will be held.
