<p>This study examines English international pharmaceutical journals included in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database, summarizes their general situation in terms of quantity, impact factor, publishers, disciplinary research hotspots and trends, and internationalization degree, and analyzes their publishing models, intensification trend, open access (OA) citation rates, quality control and standardization, and internationalization degree to provide references for improving the quality of domestic pharmaceutical journals.</p>Yan Xiao
